How to Fix Not a valid Win32 Application

Posted on 04:53 by Unknown
This post provides Computer Support to fix win 32 application error,

This issue can be caused by any of the below possibilities.

1. File is corrupt, bad, or missing.
2. File is not designed for your version of Windows.
3. File is a virus, worm, or other malware file.
4. Hardware incompatibility.

Solution

If the file or program you're attempting to run is corrupt or missing, Windows will be unable to execute the file properly and sometimes generate this error message.

Download files

If you downloaded this file and verified it is complete and compatible with your version of Windows, delete the file and try downloading and running it again. It's possible during the download that the file became corrupted.

Finally, if the second download does not work, try downloading the file from a different webpage. It is possible that the person or company maintaining the website mistakenly uploaded a corrupt version of the file you're attempting download.

Installing a program from a CD or other disk

If you're attempting to install a program and are getting this error, verify that the CD is clean. If the CD is dirty or bad, you could get this error during the install and/or get this error after the program has been installed because it was not copied properly onto the computer.

Additional information about cleaning a CD can be found on our cleaning page.

Running a program from the computer

If you're running the program from a shortcut on the computer, verify that the program is still on the computer. In some cases if the program is no longer installed on the computer you may get this error.

If the hard disk drive is corrupted or bad it can also cause working programs to fail either because not all the data can be read from the hard disk drive or because the program has become corrupted while on the drive. Run scandisk and defrag on the hard disk drive to check for any potential errors.

Long file name issue

Make sure the program or file you're attempting to run does not contain the same name as the long file name directory it is contained in. For example, executing a file named "program" in the "program files" directory can cause errors in some versions of Windows.

Additionally, if you're attempting to install a program and after the install the program does not work, you may also want to try installing the program in a different directory.

Bad file

Any file can be changed or renamed to be a .exe file. If you're downloading the file, make sure the file is supposed to be a .exe file and that it's not being changed. If you're attempting to create a .exe, file make sure you're compiling the file for Windows and never just rename a file to a .exe file. For example, renaming a .bat file to a .exe file will not make the file an executable file. For a file to become an executable file it needs to either be compiled or converted through a software program designed to convert the file.

How to speed up your system with the best computer support?

Posted on 09:20 by Unknown
It is a general notion that people like computers with good processing speed. The same is the case with me. I want my computer to show its best performance without any technical support. One day, while surfing the Internet, I got to know about some of the factors instrumental in slowing down the performance of any system and the best computer repair to opt for.

There is an unending list of computer support providers available on the Internet, which promise to offer the best in class computer support for any made and model of computers. In my belief the best computer support is the one, which is capable of diagnosing and fixing any technical problem with the system like installing and uninstalling software applications, device drivers, troubleshooting software and hardware issues and make it faster and more productive. It should at least show the level of capability for which it is capable of. If your computer is unable to deliver as per its prescribed capability then no one will prefer the computer for further use.

In case of any technical problem related to my PC, I would prefer to run to the computer manufacturer's service center for finding the best solution. When I heard of remote computer support providers, which cut down the need to carry your PC anywhere and provide you with an effective online solution to all the technical issues related to your PC and all the peripherals attached to the computer, irrespective of their make and model, it was very difficult to accept, but practically analyzing this mode of computer support, I found it to be very beneficial service for a computer user.

There are numerous reasons for the improper functioning of a system and technical issues, like hard disk crash, system slowdown, registry corruption, Blue screen of death, and uneven system freezing etc.

The choice of a computer support provider decides the performance and speed of your computer. The correct choice can make your computer to speed up and show its complete potential irrespective of any error.

Computer Repair Services to Enhance Your Computer Performance

Posted on 00:31 by Unknown
If the speed of your computer is slow and you are looking out for computer repair shop that can fix your computer to make it healthy once again. Give these methods a try to fix your computer yourself.

The most common reason for computer slowdown can be malicious software, disk management and the Startup Menu, filled with the programs in which the launcher have been installed in the taskbar to run when the computer boots up.

Cleaning the Startup

Using Microsoft configuration tool, you can see the programs loaded in Startup. To use this, click start, Run. In the box provided, type "msconfig" and click OK. This will open the tab marked Startup. In Startup, examine the programs that are checked. The important programs that have been loaded in Startup are security and anti-virus programs. Un-checking the other programs will speed up the computer, since the computer doesn't have to stop and load all the extra program launchers. If you find there is a need to add any program back to Startup, repeat the process to add the required programs.

Note: If some of the important programs are unchecked by you, they will be restarted when you boot the computer.

Malicious Software

Viruses, spyware and malicious software can severely damage the essential files and slowdown the performance of your computer. Computer viruses are basically spread by e-mail attachments in e-mail messages or instant messaging messages. Therefore, it is always recommended to open an e-mail attachment you are sure of.

To prevent your computer against viruses, it is quite important to keep your computer upgraded with latest updates and antivirus tools. You should always be informed about the recent threats and take some precautions like, run your computer as a standard user and follow some basic rules while surfing the Internet, downloading files and opening attachments.

Disk Management

For the proper functioning of your computer, some of the free space should be available in the disk. Removing some of the unused or forgotten programs, using Add/Remove Programs under the Control Panel, can enhance the performance of your computer. Running Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmentation, located in All Programs, Accessories, System Tool menu, can also boost the performance by consolidating files, giving more space on your hard drive.

These technical support tips help you to repair your computer yourself and enhance PC performance.
